Text and images

Most screenshot tools only handle images. ShotRack holds your text and screenshots together and pastes them in one go.

It uses the Mac screenshot shortcuts you already know, plus one shortcut for text.

One paste into Claude

Claude takes the whole batch at once, in the desktop app or the browser. Some other apps read only the first item.

Claude Desktop

Talk to ShotRack from Claude Desktop

In Claude Desktop, ask Claude to grab your shots and it pulls in everything you've racked, with no pasting. This only works in the desktop app, since Claude in the browser can't reach your Mac.

FAQ

Is it a subscription?

No. It's $19, once.

What does it work with?

Claude Desktop and Claude in the browser both take the whole batch. Some apps, Cursor for one, read only the first item; use Export → drag for those.

Mac only?

Yes. ShotRack is built natively for macOS, so Windows would mean rebuilding the core. If enough people ask for it, we'll build it.

Privacy?

Nothing leaves your Mac. There's no account and nothing is uploaded.

Does it need any permissions?

No. ShotRack never takes a screenshot itself. It watches for the files your own Cmd+Shift+4 already creates. It doesn't ask for Screen Recording or Accessibility access.

Where did my screenshot file go?

ShotRack keeps your screenshot; the Desktop copy moves to Trash so it doesn't pile up. It's always recoverable from Trash, and you can turn this off in Settings if you prefer both copies.
